I received Parfums de Marly's Ojan fragrance as a gift this summer and haven't been able to put it down. Notes of honey, sweet vanilla, cinnamon and patchouli wrap together for a spicy scent that is perfect for those balmy nights that feel ripe with opportunity. For a trip to Capri, I wanted a headscarf à la Jackie Kennedy on the island and found something I couldn't not buy! This headpiece features an elastic band (so, no tying yourself) and then of course there is the very fun beadwork. Out of all my July purchases, this one is the one that's certainly brought me most excitement.

This month I re-upped on shirts from With Nothing Underneath. The British brand, started by a former editor, makes the best cut boyfriend shirts for women. They're the perfect no-brainer fashion staple that work great with a pair of jeans for the office or linen shorts for the beach. I have what feels like a dozen weddings and showers approaching within the next month or two, so I am eagerly scoping out perfect wedding guest dresses to buy for all my upcoming events. For an outdoor upstate New York wedding, I bought a gorgeous emerald wrap dress from Reformation. I love that it's functional so I can still bust a move on the dance floor, but it also features a subtle leg reveal in case temperatures are warmer than expected.

I did a big Cos haul this month and these two pieces were instant hits. The sweater is a linen blend—perfect for hot days and cold offices. The skirt is a super effortless bottom that pairs easily with a variety of tops and will continue to carry me through many seasons to come. I had a beach trip coming up and needed daywear that was light and breathable. It seems to be a yearly struggle to find summer clothing that I feel comfortable in, but I came across the Vatka Co. shirt and bucket hat and it was perfect for the occasion. It transitioned from the beach to a casual dinner by the water seamlessly and feeling comfortable all the while.
